What to Expect

Whether you are searching for a new church home, visiting family or friends, or simply stopping by as you pass through town, you can always expect to feel welcomed at the Cathedral of the Incarnation.

Ours is a continually growing multi-ethnic church community with parishioners spanning the gamut from Baltimore’s own neighboring counties to African, Asian, and European nations alike. We come together for many reasons: to experience different-minded people who are united in following Christ, to hear extraordinary music that transports us beyond our day-to-day lives, to hear sermons that inspire and challenge us, to traverse several pews to give warm embraces and handshakes of peace, and to bring our children to learn and grow in grace.

If it’s spiritual fulfillment you seek, expect to find it here. The services and ministries we offer, from the choir to the flower guild to the justice and outreach programs, expand our minds, ignite our faith, and bring us together to share our lives in Christ. Each ministry caters to a different experience, meaning there’s something here for everyone.

If at any time you have any questions, our greeters, ushers, and clergy are ready and more than happy to accommodate you. Please feel free to fill out a visitor’s card in the pew and hand it to an usher at service. This way you’ll be added to our mailing list, which is a great place to start to familiarize yourself with everything that goes on at the Cathedral.
