Grounds Greetings: these days we’re busy creating new homes for native plants and their pollinators. You’ll be amazed by what you see, hear and smell there. Please see the photos attached here, as well as a helpful companion chart from the Xerces Society, for the curious. In addition, we have 2 Rain Gardens now on the grounds. The newest one is along the walkway that’s parallel to St. Paul Street. Emma D. from Earthstar Gardening beautifully designed the Rain Garden signs pictured here. As you might remember, Rain Gardens help filter and keep water on the Cathedral grounds rather than send polluted water to the Bay (through stormwater drains). Lastly, we thank God for summer signs and summer wonders of our fragile home.
