Sacred Ground – Beloved Community Resources
Sacred Ground is a film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith by the Episcopal Church. Small groups are invited to walk through chapters of America’s history of race and racism, while weaving in threads of family story, economic class, and political and regional identity. In 2023, we are hosting a small group circle from January – June 2023. This year, we have two facilitators for 14 participants. Our 2022 cohort met from February – June 2022 and included four facilitators and 26 participants. Our class concludes with Session 11 and Eucharist. READ MORE
One Hope Resources
One Hope, was a small discussion group based at the Cathedral, that presented this curated list of anti-racist resources, which was be periodically updated. Each of us arrives at this issue with different ideas; there is no one-size-fits-all curriculum, and our journeys to become more loving and inclusive of our neighbors can be long and even painful. The weekly Cathedral eNews also provided links to our Adult Formation offerings and book studies on the topic of racism, through which we hope to support one another and grow closer together as a community of faith.
